How are celebrities portrayed as flawless figures, and how is this harmful to society?

The meaning of my art comes from fragments of magazines and newspapers, featuring celebrity icons, with paint and pops of color. All these fragments make up what we know to be pop culture. However, our idea of pop culture can be skewed because of the toxic reality of it. I am reusing these parts of pop culture to reset the narrative.
