How do the colors and differences of where I grew up influence my art?

Being from two extremely different and separate places (Las Vegas, NV, and Jackson Hole, WY) has influenced where I draw my inspiration. I wanted to focus on that for my sustained inquiry this year.

Tetons and Wild West are influenced by Jackson Hole, and the two small pieces were a personal project I did that does not connect back to my inquiry question. I collaged and used paint pens for the majority of the pieces, with Tetons being the exception, as it was done in watercolor. I enjoyed the process of completing these pieces and experimenting with different mediums and designs.
