Mission Statement

Our online gallery is dedicated to reimagining how art is experienced and appreciated in the digital age. By embracing innovative forms of presentation and spatial interaction, we aim to create accessible, dynamic platforms that transcend physical boundaries. Through this initiative, we proudly showcase the creative talents of Blair students, offering a space where their artistic voices can be seen, shared, and celebrated throughout the school community. We are committed to fostering inclusive, immersive environments where creativity thrives and audiences can engage with student art in new, meaningful ways.

Advanced Student Art Show Spring 2025

On the evening of April 25, the Romano Gallery was filled with excitement as students, faculty, staff, and families came together to celebrate the opening of the Spring Student Art Exhibition. Showcasing a vibrant and diverse collection of student work—from paintings and photographs to architectural drawings, cyanotypes, ceramics, and sculpture—the exhibition offers a powerful glimpse into the creativity and dedication of Blair’s young artists. Beyond displaying their art, students engaged with viewers and explored how best to present their work in a professional setting. The show will remain open through the end of the school year, welcoming the community to continue exploring and celebrating student expression.

The Romano Gallery

Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts’ Romano Gallery exhibits the work of professional artists, as well as that of Blair students and faculty. Each exhibiting artist hosts an opening reception for students to meet with the artist and ask questions about their work and art-making process. In their second exhibit of the year, visual arts students proudly showcase their many achievements. Whether expressed through paint, pastel, clay, photo, pixels, pencil, charcoal, collage, sculpture, or mixed media, their work is an invitation to celebrate growth, curiosity, and unique kinds of beauty.
